I was going to say that those were odd looking grilles, but that listing solves it.
Nice speakers though I have a set here that I'm agonizing over selling myself....

Never seen L810's in tan/white grills.

Is that skull real?

I hadn't, either - made it easy to spot them when they popped up on eBay though.

Definitely the original version of the L810 with that grill badge and those terminals... but I am guessing someone made new grills for them. Not used to seeing the crossmembers like that, nor that color. I could easily be wrong, though - I am no expert on that really early stuff.

My L810s are the early cloth version, but they sure aren't white and I don't think they have the two cross members either???

I found a pair of L710 at a thrift for $20, sold right away for $200. Locally. And those aren't nearly as rare as these. I won't be surprised at all if those hit $500.
