DIY speaker kit suggestions?

I have never built a pair of speakers before so I was looking for taking a mid step and buy a pre-made diy kit to assembly.
At the moment my top choice is the Overnight Sensations MT speakers from Parts Express.
I would like to know your option about it and if you think its a good entry level diy speaker project or if there are any better or more fun kits to work with as a first. =)

Only recently I started to practice with DIY and wood. Not long ago I started my first project here on Audiokarma, it was a pair of wood speaker stands where I practiced finishing and painting wood for the first time. It is really fun and I am not scared to do it again, but yes I do not have pro quality expectations with that. ^^

Thank you for your suggestion tho, I will consider it. actually the Overnight Sensations are very small and I wouldn't mind working with a bigger chassis. Anyway size do not matter so much, I am doing this mostly to learn hands-on how speakers are made.
 
The Amiga floorstander kit with a 7" woofer looked good. With baffle only it's the same cost as the OS, and you would do a chunk of the woodworking.

That is a great way to get your feet wet. I built that kit for my daughter. I used walnut veneer for the first time and learned alot. I don't know where your experience is but I started to learn a little about crossovers. Next build was Paul Carmody's Cores for my son. Terrific sounding tower for average size rooms. We were really surprised how nice. Purchased a pair of Paul's Speedsters with upgraded caps that are very revealing and revealed the different sounds different amps, preamps, and receivers have. Fantastic near field monitors. Gave those to a great friend .Then built Murphy's Ushers that are in my front room and sound better with every upgrade of components I made. Talk about rabbit holes, be careful, I'm in one. But it is fun. I have the components to build Jim Holtz's Mini-Statements. That is for this winter. I hope. You will like the Overnight Sensations. The people on this site and parts express tech forum can help you with any questions you have. I am just a long time lurker.
 
I built a pair of the OS's. Nice sounding for near field. I also built a pair of the Dayton BR-1's. I use them in a second system. The BR-1's are a bit easier to build since they come with PCB's for the crossover kits and the cabinets come assembled. For the price they sound very good.
 
I was about to buy the OS on parts express when at checkout I realized they want me to pay 70 to 100 dollars for shipping. This makes the whole good sound/DIY/low budget thing unconvenient...

Do you guys know of any shops in Europe that sells DIY kits? T.T
