DIY speaker project-which one?

Hello, I'm fixing to make some speakers but need a little advice....I'm considering this...

this

or maybe just this...

It'll be my first project. I'm fairly handy and have access to a table saw and router....but I haven't made anything short of a little project in high school wood shop 100 years ago. I can use a pair of bookshelf speakers and a small pair of floor speakers so I have a good use for whatever I build. Fairly flexible on price but I don't want to spend much on my first project because...well speaker building might not turn out to be my thing, right?

Whatd'ya think? Is there a better choice here?

Thanks :)

I like the Karma Indignia, but I've got some built in bias. ;)

It's certainly better than the BR-1. The Tri-Trix sounds good, too.

I've heard a couple of Pi speakers, I can't think of a reason to avoid them.

Never built the tri-trix but it looks like a very easy and straightforward build. I think the baffles come pre-milled already as well, if so it seems like that would be a little bit simpler then the indignias as they require a bit more woodoworking but not much unless you bought pre-bult cabinets then I think they're about even in dificulty.
