Just finished terminating the fine Tonearm wires on my Jelco SA 370H like thus.
It will be going on a TD 125 MrkII.
I am using Nagaoka PC115 interconnect and it will attach horizontally then loop in the vertical 180 degrees and exit in the opposite direction to the RCA connections shown. There is only 65mm clear beneath the arm board and vertical termination was ruled out so too were many other methods including cadras din plug. The interconnect will go thru a cable restraint.
Do you think i will need to shield these wires. A TP16 which came with the TT terminated on the main chassis and its wires were not shielded.
If shielding is necessary could I fit a simple angle 35mm long on the side from 1.6mm sheet. The angle returns under the pillar 50mm. The angle would be 50mm long looking from the side.
Would the shielding need to be a complete enclosure?
