Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and to audio systems. So I have a novice question.
At Church we have a audio pa system that is was built in a portable rack. Here are the units that are in the rack.
1. Some sort of power distributer that has a cord to the wall (for power)
2. Not sure
3. Has two antenas (that probably go the wireless mic)
4. Mixer
5. Amplifier (has a cord that runs to the speakers)
My question is what is number 2. It has a little screen with some buttons and a couple lights that show the mics battery levels and "rf".
What I what to do is add additional mics (wireless). So I thought that I had to replace the panel with the antenas (I don't know what it is called) with one that could support multiple mics. But it seems the next panel up has something connected to the mics too.
So my question is...
1. what is the second panel called and what does it do
2. what is the third panel called
3. what would I have to do to support multiple mics
thank-you very much
