hi all, i just bought some beautiful infinity reference monitor studios (RSM) and my cat put two tears in the one of the mids rubber surround! my fault for not paying attention.. at any rate, i think i will try to repair it with silicon but i also stumbled across this http://cgi.ebay.com/Infinity-Midran...4|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

it says they came off infinity rs-ii speakers. they look exactly like my RSM mids, does anyone know if these will work with my speakers? does anyone know of online stores that sell vintage infinity drivers or rubber surround kits? i searched, but no luck... any help is greatly appreciated! thanks

Yes, per Infinity Classics, both the RSM and the RS-II used the same cone mid, Part No. 902-0632 (replaced by 902-0470)

silicone or even Aileene's clear glue should fix them right up. i had a tear in a midbass coupler's rubber surround and the glue repair has held up to quite a bit of power.
