Im looking to see if anybody around northern New York does tuner alignment, I have a Fisher 400 that I would like to get the tuner back to full performance but lack the equipment.
Audio Classics in Vestal/Binghamton could certainly do this but they're on the PA border. Perhaps other members will have suggestions. FWIW there are not custom duties on equipment going into and out of Canada for repair, in case that works better for you.
quite possibly someone in Montreal would work for me as im in Plattsburgh about 60 miles from Montreal, I don't really want to travel as far as Albany if possible so NYC is way too far, and I really don't want to ship the unit out. My preference would be to find a DIYer or an audio shop that I can plan a day and drop the unit off for a few hours.
I live in Montreal and have started to do tuner alignments. Im a DIYer and have recently picked up a Sound Technology 1000A RF generator and a Sound Technology 1700B distortion analyzer. Maybe we can work something out.

Sounds good, I won't be ready for a month or so, but I will get back to you when im ready to find a good time for you. Have you done many tuner alignments? and is your rf generator able to to stereo signal for mpx alignment?
If you are ever in Burlington, VT this guy could probably do it. www.techguydave.com/
I have taken a few things to him, and he is a really nice guy. I'm not sure what his wait time is, but it's worth asking him.
