Does anyone know these bad boys?

Could any of you help me identify these speakers? They are a 3 way design with glued cloth grills on all sides. I guess they are of european production but that is just a supposition. They have written on the front ML1 and that's about it. Could they be vintage Mark Levinson's? Thank you.

I've seen those, and I think you may be right about the high-end part. Did Levinson make speakers? I thought he was just an amp/DAC designer.

He did make some speakers, but I don't know if in his first years 1970-1980, when presumably these would've been made.... Where have you seen them?

Someone else just in the past month or so asked about a pair of those. He had a set with orange cloth on them. I don't remember what they turned out to be. Let me see if I can find that thread.

That would've been my second guess, but I'm inclining they're european. Someone told me, that he is more than 90% sure they were custom built in switzerland..... Who knows

Here, these are the same except they say "SL" where yours say "ML1". Look like the same brand maybe a different model. Servolinear

Oh man, that was quick :). Excellent circulation of information.

So, to wrap things up, these speakers are Servolinear ML1A. Here are some links to specifications and treads opened on some german hi-fi forums:
