Does anyone know what film this is?

I just randomly remembered a film I watched when i was a kid. It was a horror film, based in a large hospital in america. There is this massive electrical storm and the hospital gets struck by lightning causing the power to trip out and it gets into the electrical system causing patients to be electrocuted! There is a scene in the film where there is lightning all around one of the corridors.
There is also another scene where there is this old chap dressed in (i think) a dressing gown and he is walking back and forth saying 'i don't wanna die' over and over again until he just falls over dead. There is also a scene of the outside of the hospital on the day after the storm. Its just a square 1960's type building with lots of windows.

I was 6 or 7 when i saw the film on my little b&w tv in my bedroom and the reason i remember it so well is because it scared the living hell out of me!!

Just interested to know what the film is?

You're going to make read that page too aren't you? I recall from the old monster chiller Saturday matinee: Black and white film...This skull breaks out of a glass case and floats around...cut to POV of peeps in terror scrambling away in fear. Not much to go on but bugging me for years. Some vague thing that the skull is the done wrong hubby. LOL
