Does the wood case for the 5020 cassette deck fit any receivers?

I have tried to find the answer to this but I can't seem to find a definitive source. I have a 5020 cassette deck with a nice case. I have no use (or room) for the deck but I would love to fill the case with a receiver. The case seems to be the size of a WC-22 faceplate but not as deep as most 22xx series receivers. Are there any receivers that fit this case without sticking out of the back? It's only about 12 inches deep.

I don't know the answer but I use this thread for all my wood case questions. According to that thread the 5020 used a 22 or 42 case style. Not sure on the difference though.
 
Sounds like it may be a 122 case. I know that the only difference between the 22 and 122 was the depth of the unit with a 22 being a few inches deeper.
 
You might be on to something. Classic-audio shows the 5020 and the receivers that fit into a wc-122 case according to the aforementioned thread, are very close. On the other hand, classic-audio also shows the case for those receivers is a WC-116. Also, there is a case on eBay advertised as fitting a 2215 and 5020. Classic-Audio has a 2215 fitting into a WC-10, which cannot be right. And this eBay listing is also incorrect since the 2215 has the same measurements as a 2245 etc so it takes a traditional WC-22.

I think the WC-122 is correct, which opens up a lot of options. This case is nice enough, I would like something in it that I would actually use. As pretty as it is, I have no cassettes anymore for a 5020.
 
Do you mean a grill? It does have a grill, unlike many of the other cases made for cassette decks.

Or do you mean openings underneath? It also has a long rectangular opening on the bottom, not three openings like on a traditional WC-22
 
For the record, I have a WC-122 that I bought new, in the original packaging. It is not a sleeve, like the WC-22, WC-10, WC-1, et al. The WC-122 and up, are a 3-piece dress-up kit with a thin plywood top, and two solid wood sides. The sides have a dado to receive the top. Screwed in from the sides, it fastens over the metal case. No bottom.

The WC-122 fits my 2252B, among other units, and was the factory option for that unit, although other 'sleeve-type' cases will fit that unit.
