Doors Slip Cases

[gary7]

Picked up an odd thing today at the flea market. It is a box of 8 The Doors numbered edition slip cases that are from the 7 lp 180g set. #10981 to 10989 No records, just the cases. Wonder where they came from. Dude said he got them off of CL.

Bet the eyes lit up when you saw the box!

I've seen and thought about buying that set before (with the records of course) that must have been a huge let down when you realized it was an empty case! I never understood why people sell empty cases...

I just wonder, since these were numbered, what happened to the records.

Its hard to even imagine why the LPs and the packaging would be separated like that. Unless something horrible happened to some or all of the records ....
