Simply a fantastic film with Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck and Edward G Robinson. Classic suspense about murder-for-profit scheme.

Supposed to be airing Wednesday, August 7 @ 10PM on TCM.

If you can fit it in, it'll be well worth it.

Walter Neff: Do I laugh now, or wait 'til it gets funny?

Phyllis: I was just fixing some ice tea; would you like a glass?
Walter Neff: Yeah, unless you got a bottle of beer that's not working.

Walter Neff: You'll be here too?
Phyllis: I guess so, I usually am.
Walter Neff: Same chair, same perfume, same anklet?
Phyllis: I wonder if I know what you mean.
Walter Neff: I wonder if you wonder.


One of the very best films ever made ever ever ever ever.
 
Another good one was from (Walter to Phyllis):

Phyllis: I think you're rotten.

Walter: I think you're swell- so long as I'm not your husband.

That plus Robinson's tirade to his boss- ripping him to pieces about how little the boss knew about suicide statistics. Great speech delivered as only ER could.
