Dovedale w2 parts/advice

I’ve recently acquired a pair of wharfdale dovedale w2 speakers.1 works perfectly but the other ones built in tone control seems to have a loose, temperamental connection. Where would I find a replacement control or is it possible to bypass it? Many thanks.
