Dream speakers

[richersounds]

What are your dream speaker's?
I dream of jbl S3900's

Or the more attainable (also better looking) klipsch la Scala's.
What are yours?

Like the look of the AR 9's
Design sounds Interesting also. Flat down to 28hz. Would love to hear a pair.

Listen to your dream speakers before deciding. It is most wise.

I've had or heard about 100 pairs of "dream speakers" and most don't live up to the hype.

Right now, I'm dreaming about Dunlavy SC-VI (which I've heard) or ATC SCM300ASL (I've heard the 150ASL and 35).

Right now, I'm dreaming about Dunlavy SC-VI (which I've heard) or ATC SCM300ASL (I've heard the 150ASL and 35).

I have listened to a few pairs of La scala's and was suitably impressed.
One time I had a guy demo a pair for me using jbl L100's as first listen. Then played the La scala's and well...the La scala's literally blew me away with the fullness of sound coming from them.

Edit. Never heard of Dunlavy before.
Very impressive looking designs.
Will keep an eye out for those...

I'm going to be diplomatic and say I consider those to be two of the worst and most offensive speakers I've ever heard in the history of audio.

Many dont agree with you as in MANY...lol but each to their own.
That's what's makes us humans awesome.
We all like different things

I have a pair of these.

I dream of these

[bowtie427ss]

Westlake SM-1, any version.

Runner up would be Eggleston Works Ivy Signature SE

[StimpyWan]

I always wanted VMPS RM/X speakers!

[trinhsman]

Von Schweikert Ultra 11, but then I need a new house too.
Something I actually might be able to afford one day would be the Tannoy DC10.
I’ve heard them both.

I'd love to hear the Von Schweikert Ultra 11's too. Though, I'd definitely need to add the appropriate room for them.

Eye candy:

Dream speakers are easy, it’s getting the dream listening room for them that’s hard!

Yep. Dream speakers aren't gonna live up to their potential if they're not in a good room.

It's my dream.

Speakers are the weak link.

All else is perfect.
