Driver I.D. help

epifanatic

acoustically suspended
Got these from a friend, foam was shot, did a re-foam, stuck them in a pair of epi 100 cabs, sounded fine. He thinks they came out of a pair of Boston A-70's. No numbers just the date. Any help?

Could be either A60 or A70 woofers. Mid-years model. Earliest models had square magnets; late versions had poly plastic cones (these are paper, in the pic)...

I've never measured them; however, I'd think they should measure REALLY closely to EPI 8" woofers as far as T/S parameters are concerned; they share pretty much the same moving mass and voice coil dimensions, and the magnet is just about identical.

Regards,
Gordon.

The guy was pretty sure they were BA's. I do have a friend with some Prodigys that need woofers though........:scratch2:

It's a Boston. Unfortunately many of their drivers carry no part number, only build dates. The cardboard box they came in had the part number on it.
