Anyone have an ID for this 8" woofer driver? Date stamped Nov 1968. The other code doesn't lead me anywhere. I thought maybe jensen, but can't find a match.

Cloth pleated edge. Cloth dust cap, textured cone, welded mag structure. It's quite heavy.

I honestly don't see anything Utah about it. There's nothing characteristic of the brand there.

That would be a pressed cone. The pattern is left behind from the screen form it was pressed on.
Yes, pressed with a pattern/texture. ;)

This has had me stumped for some time.

Was hoping to get some basic specs to incorporate into a xover.

Best bet, and shortest path would be to find a friend/fellow enthusiast with DATS or similar. If you want to add it to your own toolbox, i think basic DATS V3 is around 130 bucks @ Parts Express.

Bonus points if you can connect with somebody equipped with Audiomatica CLIO, I think they're up to their 12th build now, highly refined.
