Driving Joseph Audio Pulsars with 20 wpc

I heard some Joseph Audio pulsar2s recently and LOVED them. I am considering buying a couple for my system. However their predecessor measured at 83.5 dB sensitivity (https://www.stereophile.com/content/joseph-audio-pulsar-loudspeaker-measurements) and my system is a 19 wpc tube amp. I may be able to change the operating point and squeeze out a few more watts.

The room I have my system in is pretty small; I sit about 6 feet away from the speakers and rarely have the volume over halfway. I emailed Joseph Audio and Jeff wrote back (I think he's the designer) saying some folks drive them with 13 wpc tube amps and are happy. But everything I've found online is people claiming you need 40 wpc minimum.

I really don't want to replace my amp. Am I kidding myself thinking it will be good enough to drive these speakers?

FWIW I had some ATC SCM11v2s rated at 85 dB with a 22 watt KT88 triode p/p amp and never felt that I needed more power.
