Dual 1009 help identifying little part

Hello AK,
Long time reader but first time posting. Wondering if anyone can help identify this little pin that came with my Dual 1009. The previous owner made a little holder and glued it to the left corner. I’ve searched the web but can’t find anything close. Any input is much appreciated.

Probably part of a Dust Bug type cleaner. Can we see a pic of the "holder"?

Yes, that is the base for a Dust Bug, just like the one at the top of my picture.
