Dual 1019 Cartridge Alignment Guide

The gauge ... [] ... attempts to set overhang and zenith angle, but Dual doesn't say according to what geometry.

I just checked on a 502 that still has the cartridge mounted as when it came from Dual.
I aligns perfect with vinylengine's Baerwald protractor. It doesn't with the Stevenson.

I have one of those wedges which is about the thickness of one record.

That is also about the thickness of the cardboard shim that I made, and to the naked eye the VTA looks perfect and sounds great. :thmbsp:

I used to have one. A few years ago I decided that I would probably never want or aspire to own a 1019 (since I am more of a 1200 series guy) so I sold my remaining carrier and jig on ebay......
