Hi friends

I want to ask about Dual 1214 CS16 about it's platter
- is there any glue between platter and rubber - mat ? or the rubber-mat just put above the platter like other common turntables ?

Please advise that thanks

My 1218 mat is permanently fixed to the top of the platter. I would assume all of the other models are the same way. Probably glued or the mat has an adhesive back, put in place during the table's assembly.

oh from the Dual factory there's a glue(maybe) then the rubber mat and platter will stick together, I'm not familiar with this hehe

when the platter spin, I see on the stainless steel ring is spinning like waves, how to fix that ?

When the ring goes up and down, it usually means that someone pulled the mat up, bending the metal. Fastening the mat back to the platter does not always straighten out the ring. The factory glue between mat to platter is contact cement. The ring has a different type of glue. Good luck. You may want to consider making a new mat [do a search here to see what you can make]. If you make one that looks nice, it can replace the old one.

Doea it will affect to sound quality if the Vinyl Spinning like waves too or that will not affect anything ?

can we put if of the rubber mat from platter, clean each material (both platter and rubber mat) from old glue, re-glue again and put it together again ?

If you pull the entire mat from the platter, you might make the metal ring even more bent. But you are right that the best way to glue is to do this first.
