Dual 1219 platter wobble

Hello! I finally got my 1219 working enough to enjoy it and I really like the sound (and the cool factor, auto play, signal staying off until it cycles correctly, and more). The only issue is that every now and then the motor doesn't switch off immediately after auto return cycles (but with a slight jiggle it clicks off, and this is something I can live with for now), and there's a slight wobble to the platter.

From what I've read, the wobble most likely means I need another platter, but I see that some platters have the spindle attached to the platter and others don't. My spindle is attached to the platter. But I also read the Dual 1219 platters fit interchangeably, which contradicts my assumption.

So, now I'm thinking- is the spindle not supposed to be attached like that? Could my spindle just be stuck and that's why it's got a bit of wobble?

SO, that's my question to you all. Would greatly appreciate any help! Thank you!

Spindles are not part of the platter.
1219
1229
1229Q platters are the same.
And are almost always warped to some
extent.
Spindle? Do you mean the thing that centers the record on the platter or do you mean the dowel that supports platter?
Fix the spindle issue and secure a better platter.
It might even come with a nicer mat.

Thanks for the reply. I just took another look and now I see that the spindle (to me the thing that centers the record on the platter) just comes right off. Ploink. Thanks for your help!
