Dual 1229 Cue control

Hi Folks
Does anyone know how to decrease the decent rate of the tone arm when using the cue control on a Dual 1229?
On my Dual 1019 I replaced the grease on the friction plate control and then tighten the nut on the plate to get a nice slow touch down.
I do not see any thing to adjust on the 1229.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated .
