So I have intermittent left channel drop out, and felt that replacing the RCA cable from the deck would be a start to solving the issue. Thankfully when I got into the guts of the TT, I saw 4 spade connectors (picture 1) vs. soldered wires. I have been succesfull at removing the wires without further damage, and have a replacement RCA on it's way to me (https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-AUDIO-...END/382496936495?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144)
The one think I'm stuck on is how to remove the cable management 'dohickey', within the metal plate on the plinth. It seems like squeezing it would have worked when the plastic wasnt so hardened. Maybe there is some other trick, figured it easy enough to ask here. Thanks in advance for any tips suggestions on how I may remove the wire management plate from the wire.
