Dual 1237

Hey all,

been reading may posts for some time and finally signed up.

Ive been looking at a local for sale post for a Dual 1237. Completely overhauled, new belt, new Jico Hypereliptical stylus, even the stacker post add on too. It’s almost mint IMO. Guy is asking $275. I don’t want to do a full refurb project, just want a solid new as new can be vintage TT. Thoughts on this?

If it is restored and fully working and with a new he jico I would say it's a nice deal.
Have no personal experience but have read some good reviews of it.
But of course: do due diligence and try it thoroughly before paying if possible.

I have a 1237 and like it very much. This sounds like a good deal to me given the condition as described.

Me too. It went to another home, where it is enjoyed to this day, best I recall.

Price is fair, not a score, not too expensive.
