Dual 502 Help - Tonearm Assembly Issue

Hi all new member here. Been enjoying the AK site for the past year as I have entered into the vintage turntable world. I recently picked up a Dual 502 and was hoping for some help. It turns out that part #240967 Bearing Compl. is broken where the bearing screw attaches through the anti-skate dial. I can't seem to find a replacement part and I am wondering what other models will fit the 502. It looks like the 504 is the same. Maybe I could find a replacement. Any suggestions?

66BB: That's the VTF dial, not the anti-skate dial, but yes, the same part is also used for the arm of the 504. Unfortunately Dualfred(.de) doesn't seem to offer that, so you'll have to check other replacement part vendors.

Thank you lini I appreciate it. So if I found a complete tonearm from a 504 I should be able to swap it out? Do you think the 504 is worth the effort? I have had a 704 and use a 1219 as my main table.

66BB: Well, I like the 502 as a neat, spartanic model - so on one hand, I'd tend to say yes. On the other hand I don't know, how much that arm would cost you - and then your profile doesn't mention your location, so I also don't know, whether you live in a country with 60 Hz mains frequency, so that you might encounter the usual speed problems, if that 502 is still equipped with the SM840 motor. And swapping both the arm and the motor might be a bit costly...
