My lovely Dual 506-1 is having an increasing problem with a scratching sound that seems to be originating from the speed pulley.
This sound also happens with no belt.
When I touch the plastic housing (counter bearing) that partially encases the pulley I can feel some scratching. But it’s really random and seems to change.
Is this something that needs lubrication?
Could this be something else entirely?
I am attaching an audio recording and a video of the housing being touched for reference.
The sound is audible even with the lid closed which is driving me crazy.
Any advice would be gladly appreciated.
