I bought a Dual CS 455 that appears to be in very nice condition but the platter turns to slow. I bought a new belt from a reputable dealer online, not a cheap one on a auction site. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the platter where the belt goes as well at the part of the motor where the belt goes. I also took the platter off and cleaned inside the shaft and oiled it with Mobil One 0W-30W. The motor runs quite but when I put the new belt on it seams like it doesn't have enough power/torque to turn the platter. Can any please tell me if there is anything I can do to maybe get it going? I know the CS 455 isn't one of the best Duals made but it had an almost new very low hours Shure 15 IV on it, I bought it from the original owner. It has a Dual DC 205 motor.
