Hello,
I've been playing records on a recently acquired Dual CS 503-1 which, for most Dual fans, is an entry-level hi-fi deck. While I'm awaiting the arrival of a new belt (the old performs still acceptably), I want to address a speed issue. The iPhone app Turnabulator indicates a 4-6% speed increase on both 33.33 and 45.
The thing is, the service diagrams indicate trim pots to the right of the motor capstan, but they are not accessible from the top or from the bottom. Unscrewing the screws supporting the plastic base will still require removing the plinth by clearing the tonearm assembly (I haven't done that yet).
Is anyone familiar with doing this adjustment on this particular Dual model? Thank you.
