The Dual CS 505-1 is designed to take custom ULM cartridges with small fixing tabs which often break off. Does anyone have any experience of repairing these tabs either by glueing or molding new tabs.
I have an original Dual CS 505-1 with such a cartridge whos tabs have broken off. I also have a used 1/2 inch adapter which enables a standard 1/2 cartridge to be used but that also has broken tabs.
Any help or experience with repairing these would be welcome.
Alternatively has anyone replaced the original headshell with a headshell from a later CS505 model which takes a standard 1/2inch cartridge.
