Dual CS 627 Q Turntable help needed!

Hi,
just bought this baby. Got most of it sorted. Just wondering:

1: The tonearm falls short of the record when playing 45's. Does anyone know how to adjust this?
2. It has 'two-scale anti-skate'. The different scales are represented by a circle and an oval. Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks,

Anti-skating: I think the circular represents the scale a spherical or conical stylus, and the oval for elliptical stylus.

As for falling short, I am not sure what would be causing that?

Does it fall short at both 33 and 45? If so, there is an adjustment for that. There is a "hole" in the chassis between the tonearm rest and the platter (close to the platter). Insert a slotted screw driver and turn the screw. It's a little tough to turn, but it will. Turn it clockwise about 1/8th of a turn. Then push start - it will be better or worse. Continue to turn clockwise if better, or counterclockwise if worse.

If it's just at 45, there are other issues that require servicing.
