DUAL CS604 direct drive TT - vinyl CLAMP required

Anyone here that has seen a clamp working with the above TT? The spindle seems shorter and more tapered than meaning others. I got hold of a 'generic' michel clamp copy, and the collet piece doesn't grip the spindle at all. Even before a record is placed on the platter. Anyone know the diameter of the motor's spindle?
Ideas!! cheers CD

How about a weight instead of a clamp? Spindle length doesn't really matter with a weight.

Why use anything? Fun fact; you can lift this turntable to over 45 degrees to one side, hit start, and it will track perfectly.

thanks for the reply,
Q. is that because it's a direct drive motor?
any weight at all?
cheers CD

Thanks Thorsten, seems like the clamp idea is the best option

Thanks krautmaster (interesting name), that's looks like a go'a

It is an old US Air Force nickname from the 1980's- I was the only one in my Squadron at Sembach Air Force Base who could speak a lick of German (I learned from my Grandfather) so I became "Kraut Master" and it has stuck for nearly 40 years !
