Dual CT-110 FM signal disappears

Hi guys,

Last week I bought a Dual CT-110 tuner from a thrift shop, and although it appeared to be working fine, it has started acting up today..

The problem is this:
No matter how the antenna is positioned, all FM signal wil drop completely after a few seconds.
I'd turn the tuner on, and reception would be great, even in stereo. But after a few seconds, I lose all signal. The signal meter goes wild for a sec, and then points to zero.

AM reception is very good though, better than most of my other tuners.

Does anyone have any ideas were I should be looking in order to fix this?

I have the SM from hifiengine.

Any help is appreciated!

Hello Gertjan90. Welcome to AK. I would check all the solder points on the PCB for broken solder connections. Also check the voltages in the FM section of the tuner as listed on the schematic. Possible bad electrolytic caps failing. Wish the SM was in English. It's a start. Good luck. Keep us informed.
