Dual Purpose Speaker Stands / Record Storage Suggestions

I'm looking to see what options are out there for dual purpose speaker stands/record storage. I was able to find these Wharfedale Linton stands, but $500 is more than I'm wanting to spend on my relatively simple system. Speakers are Pioneer S-910s and weigh about 50 lbs. Record storage is just a simple Brightroom cube storage piece from Target. While the Target brand doesn't offer single cubes in black, most other brands with cube storage do. Would any of those happen to be sturdy enough to act as speaker stands while avoiding unwanted resonance? Thank you.

Make sure when considering the height of the stands with your speakers on top. You want tweeters at ear level .

Good suggestion. Most stands I've seen raise the speaker about 14-15". I don't currently have chairs in the stereo room (thinking of an Eames and chaise lounge), but I'll take some measurements of where the tweeters are now and where they'd be roughly when raised and compare that with chairs being considered for the space.

There is a guy on Etsy that makes great record storage containers at very reasonable prices. The quality is very good. His finish work is great. There is a broad variety of options. He just made some for me and we are very happy with them,
