Dueling Systems

UPDATED!

I moved the McIntosh into the main room with the TV. I get a lot more time on the McIntosh system now. Now for the pics!!

The MCS TT isn't hooked up, as I purchased it on CL for a friend and still haven't given it to her. (Come to think of it, I bought that for her LAST xmas. Maybe she doesn't want it?)

On the chopping block is that ugly TV pedestal stand. soon to be replaced by something lower.
Also, some wire management. I hate ugly wires everywhere, but that's not easy work.

Over the weekend I picked up a Barzilay EEC-3 cabinet in Oak for my new TV stand. The owner purchased it new in 1982, and was moving to Panama thus selling all his stuff. I used some Howards Wax and fine steel wool to feed/wax it back to new.

Man I hated that black piece of crap TV stand I had before. I think the Barzilay compliments the McIntosh XR-5's nicely.

PICS!

The doors are real slick. They open/close together and collapse to the middle.

The seller even had the brochure and the customer invoice: $327 on 7/9/1982.
