Dust cover needed for Linn Sondek LP12

I have recently acquired a used Linn Sondek LP12 turntable with a Fidelity Research tonearm. Everything seems to be working well. The only problem is, it's missing the dust cover. Can anyone tell where I can find a dust cover for it. The dimensions required are 17"(W) x 13"(D) x 4.0"(H). I don't need the hinges and I don't mind if its a make other than Linn, as long as it's the right size. If I am not able to find a ready made cover I would be grateful if you could tell me of a person or company who could make one for me. I live in Central Florida.

Any particular reason why you don't want the factory replacement part? Too expensive? UK price is GBP 133 for the lid without hinges.

Yes, I was hoping to get something much cheaper. All I want is something is something of the right size to cover the turntable with. Besides, I am in the US and shipping for genuine replacement part would be prohibitively expensive.
 
JMK Display can make one in any size. Probably between 90 and 100 dollars. I have no affiliation with them but have several dustcovers they have made and am very pleased with their quality - it exceeds the factory by a bunch.

I am quite sure that you have a plastic fabricator in your area. They can usually make one for around a $100 bucks . Maybe a little less. I had one made for my VPI Hw-19 for just over $80 bucks and it is a bit larger and I had made even taller. Not to mention you can even have one made in the smoke tint. KOOL:biggrin:
