Dustcover with broken hinges. Any way to reattach them?

I have a dustcover that actually looks pretty decent however the hinges have beek snapped clean of. Is there any way to reattach them on a solid way ? Sadly because if the design of the turntable the hinges have a pretty constant pressure on them which makes me think that there might not be much that I can do. But still it can't hurt to ask.

Do like vinyl nirvana does and fashion a thin chunk of metal to match the broken piece and part of the main cover and glue it all together. Check eBay for Thorens dust cover repair to see what I'm talking about. Of course, the TD dustcover does not have an outside restriction as this table might.

that seems like a good idea how ever what kind of glue should I use ?

Amazing how pictures are getting things done on this.

TB show us pics as you progress and get this done.

Well I decided to try and replicate the nirvana hinges and to my surprise it works pretty well I wanted to try and make some sort of prototype first to test it so they look really bad but as you can see on the pictures it's already working pretty well

That's a lot better than your first post "there might not be much I can do". A bit of use, fine tuning if needed and the right glue and you have another 25 years of good dust cover for your table. Glad you were able to fashion something that should work.
