Dynaco A25 bad re-foam or woofer problem?

No. I'd watch ebay until one pops up. Do not buy one from an A25XL as the cabinet sizes are different, therefore, some spec must also be different.
 
Followup with video. I got a replacement driver from the auction site for approx $30. It has the star hub mounting ring but the magnet and other parts otherwise look the same. I rotated the speaker slightly and slowly and carefully made new holes. If I ever find an exact replacement I would fill in the new holes. For now I think they sound good, hear below.
