Dynaco A25

I may be buying a pair of A25 speakers and I noticed that these have the port above the tweeter rather than below the woofer. Does this make any difference in the sound, this configuration does not look as popular, is there a reason why? I am new to dynaco.

There are many variations of the Dynaco A-25 speakers. I have two pairs. Three speakers have the port on top and tweeters on right, one with port on the bottom and tweeter on left. They all sound the same.

There is little information on the variations. No links, but I have heard that the the ones with the port on top are very early versions, sometimes called A-25X.

Thanks, I have been looking but really haven't seen anything. I just wanted to make sure they sounded the same and one wasn't better than the other.
