i bought a pair of those some time ago for a lot more than that. they're exactly twice the size of A25's and about 50 pounds each. i'm ashamed to say that i haven't even hooked 'em up yet since i bought them, but i can imagine how they'd sound.....A25's on bass steroid.:D
 
Well, still nothing - I'm sure these are gone by now. Craigslist needs to make it a bit more obvious for people without accounts to remove their postings. Oh well. :no:
 
I found a pair at the bottom of the dumpster -- fortunately they had been tossed onto a couple of mattresses and I got there before more stuff was tossed in, so they survived without a ding. (And, almost as important, no one came along and tossed more stuff while I was in the dumpster, so I survived without a ding also.)
Maybe it needed recapping, but I thought that they lacked the A 25's magic. They sounded heavy and slow compared to their little siblings (I feel the same about the A35s also.)

lol. i'd jump in, too - if i ever saw one of those in a dumpster.

i think you need more power for these to have same dynamics as the A25's. the dual woofers are connected in parallel, if i recall correctly..... i'd give 'em around their rated wattage (100wpc).
 
That's an interesting possibility -- I can't remember what I was using back then, but until I defaulted to a Stereo 70 I often used solid state power amps in the 60 -100 watt range, so I don't know if that was the issue, but I get your point.
