Dynaco A50

I've never owned or heard a pair of Dynaco speakers before. I hear everyone rave about the A25 though. Not heard much about the A50. Was wondering if anyone could tell me about these. How they sound etc.

Also, some pics of A50's I see have the tweeter above the woofers while some have the tweeter below the woofers. Different model?!?

Apparently there are 2 versions, one with the tweeter above and one below. Do a googleAK search, for A50, there was a long thread about them recently.

I own the A50's with the tweeter on top.
Great speakers and can handle lots of power......A50's don't show up that much....if you can pick them up....go for it!

Out of the 3 or 4 most-famous Dynaco models, there was one that I recall people saying WASN'T so great. Can't remember if it was the A50 or A150 (WAS there an A150?), but I know there was one model that a few AK'ers didn't like for whatever reason.

A25s were famous for being a great sounding speaker for a low price. I don't think there was anything wrong with A50s, just the law of diminishing returns caught up with Dynaco and the speakers were no longer such a bargain.
