Dynaco? If so which ones?

Hey guys I just got offered these speakers on the cheap and was wondering which model they might be and what I should offer for them? Dynaco gear is gold. I don't know what you can get it for but it will never be worth less - if you are a good "horse trader". Years ago I bought an ST 150 amp for $60 on "that auction site". These days it goes for well over twice that and deservedly so - very clean and musical. Vintage audio trends; Mcintosh and Marantz command big bucks but people gradually catch on to the fact that Dynaco and Hafler is just as good and in some examples better.

It's a package deal, he wants me to buy his bose to get the dynaco cheap. Can I say how much on here? I already broke a rule yesterday without thinking and got a thread deleted.
 
post all price/value discussion in dollars and sense forum and you are ok stating the asking $.

I wasn't, I think it was why I wanted to get rid of something, didn't realize I couldn't do that even though it's the first rule in there lol. So I can say how much I'm getting them for tomorrow then? Oh and the Bose are 201 or 301 series iii (can't remember and he already pulled the ad since I'm getting them) in great shape with stands
 
If you get something, you can talk price paid anywhere you want. $&¢ is for discussion of price to compare, is it worth it, look what this guy is charging and what is the value. If you don't ask if you got a good deal or ask anything about value, you can post what you paid in the discussion of the speakers in the speaker forum. It is not a question, it is a data point, like saying the speakers have a blue grille cloth. But that is how I read the rules.

I don't understand when someone gets a chunk of gear and wants to say what they paid, they run and hide it in $&¢ when the proper forum for the chunk would be better, unless they ask if they got a good deal.

Well I don't really want the Bose, but I'm buying them for $40 to get the dynacos for $20 and it's 8 miles from me

My current dilemma is I'm running out of space and need to purge, but I want another set of speakers to play with and can't decide if I should go with the Bose and dynaco for $60, a pair of one owner magneplanar smga baby maggies for $200, or a pair of DCM tf600's with a bad tweeter with a replacement included for $100
 
Ok thanks! I will as soon as I know what I'm purging lol. Probably these giant altec lansing, university cabs that i have in another thread asap, they had to be put into storage lol

Can't be wanting to sell in $&¢, but we can tell you what to do money wise in that forum, if you have questions, that we can't here in the speaker forum.

It is not smooth to ask how much can I get for ...since I want to sell it. That is just like an ad. Easy to ask what stuff is worth without stating it is to sell. but you can say it is to buy but then someone wanting that unit might look at your Knoxville CL and find what you are wanting a snatch it out from under your consideration. This has been done numerous times on AK. Happens even quicker if the OP puts the CL link in there post...poof gone while the thread starter is waiting for an answer.

Too bad you're not closer. I'd trade you a good pair of TF600s for the A25s if they were reasonably clean and working. Oh well GU. Good luck with the deal.
