Dynaco Mark Anything Picture Request

My listening area is kind of a high traffic high finish area. Anything I place in there needs to be neatly installed and aesthetically pleasing (to my wife). I see a lot of Dynaco Mark III's installed by either laying out on the floor or hidden. Any pictures of these or any mono block amps installed in a cabinet, rack or anything that is neatly done? I want them to be visible and part of the presentation but this is a room that I designed and built myself with a lot of care so I want everything to add to the look.

Using the cage to cover the top on the amplifier has to make them look better when left in the open. Also, you can make or have made wood panels for the sides like I did with a pair of M-125 mono blocks. You can use longer screws to attach them. Also instead of the nubs for feet, taller ones can be added to let the amp breath a bit better.

I made sides for a pair of mk3s for Alan and they came out looking good.
Claro walnut is extremely expensive on the internet but if you can find a local woodworker you could probably dumpster dive sufficient material.
These were actually made from scrap from another project...

I bought the cage for my ST-35 just because it just looked like 10lbs of, well you know what, stuffed into a 5lb bag without it. :D it just looks so much better with the cage.
My ST-70 is topless, along with the M-125 mono blocks. A nice open rack made with your choice of materials would work. I bought a pair of open racks that works well with my tube gear. The racks I bought came with a taller shelfs at the bottom, but I bought an optional set of taller tubes so my ST-70 could fit and breath like the mono blocks at the bottom. The racks I bought have optional caster wheels too if needed.

No tube cages but I do have those plexiglass covers you can buy sitting on top of the VTA drivers to keep the curious unaware from becoming all to aware...

Nice look. I see a ST-70 and some Mark III's. What are you running as a preamp and speakers?

The preamp is an Aikidio design made by Erhard Audio. I don't think he produces it anymore, but he does still make one that looks like it with tone controls. This one I have doesn't have tone controls. At the moment the speakers I'm using are a pair of Polk Monitor 10's and a pair of Marantz Imperial 6's.
The racks can be found at Amazon. The brand is Pangea. Mine is the standard rack. There is also the Vulcan. Just put Pangea audio in the search bar at Amazon and all there products will pop up. The amps on the bottom racks are M-125 mono blocks. There basicly MKlll's on steroids. Bigger transformers and an extra set of output tubes per amp for 125 watts each.

Thanks. The preamp is (was) a Dynaco PAS 3, but has been completely rebuilt with the full Erhard Audio kit (with tone controls). Speakers are Klipsch KG 4.2 with a Crites Ti diaphragm upgrade. I am seriously on the hunt for a pair of Fortes or Chorus 2s, but I honestly can't fault the KG 4.2s.

I like that rack. The shelves are adjustable aren't they? Does Bob still sell the plexy covers for the mono blocks? I put one on my ST-70.

Yes. The shelves are adjustable in steps. Standard "bread rack" you can buy at pretty much any big box store, although this one I got from Amazon. I got my plastic covers from an eBay seller out of FL. He does still list them to fit the VTA MK3 drivers. No idea if there is any affiliation with Bob. Absolutely prefect fit though.

Thanks, book marked. The M-125's use the same VTA driver board. Thst seller might be affiliated since he has "Tubes4HiFi VTA" printed on them.
