Dynaco pat 5 volume pot

I'm rebuilding a Dynaco pat 5 ( update your dynaco line stages, power supply, delayed start ) .I bought an Alps pot (marked 20KA) It measures 17 Kohm each side. The original pot measured
14.3Kohm one side and 15.1 Kohm the oter side. Is th Alps pot. close enough or ?
