Could be a great deal. They think there is an antenna attached.

It is in pretty good physical condition it lights up and sound comes out but it acts like there is no antenna attached even though there is.

What does this mean?

[Galaxie65]

lol it means "Uh oh!" I think it would be a nice little piece to have, even with the problem if you don't mind some tinkerin

[jhoyt]

Means they don't know the difference between AM and FM?

[Robisme]

Or they think that 75 ohm to 300 ohm matching transformer is an antenna.

I bet it works fine.

I like those Sansui's. What is the usual selling price on those tuners?

I was tempted, it matches my black Marantz perfectly. One day I'll pick one of these up.

$150 + consistently.

[myu701]

Depends a lot upon condition. In very good shape with rack handles and they'll go up to $250.

Would have grabbed it if I knew. Sold my 9090db and 5000x last weekend along with a nice pair of Heresys. Didn't really want to , but buyer really wanted them and it paid for a week of college.:tears:

Still want a AU/TU 717 some day.
