EAR834 clone R-Transformer Wiring Help

Sorry for the very noob question.
I'm working on a clone EAR834 and I'm in the part where I need wire this R- core transformer.
I have figured all the wires circled in green with primary black to the switch and red to the socket, 260v yellow wires and 6.3 blue wires.

I'm not sure about the green/yellow wire circled in red. I saw on another forum that is a gnd wire, so I asume it goes on the GND hole of the PSU board.

is this wire correct there?

Looks like those wires go to a toroidal TF.

yeah, I think it's a toroidal transformer.
After giving some more reading this mornming, I think if I connect that green/yellow wire to the PCB, I would be creating a ground loop, since I am grounding the IEC to the chasis?

Oh! just found this old thread of mine. I am going to my third EAR834 right now. This phono-amp has been worth it. Maybe once I am done I can just post its power supply so I don't leave this thread useless.

they are quite the value for the money. At some point you may want to look into the Yoshino mods done to the real EAR phonoboxes. They will also apply to the clones.

I just had a look at yoshino. I've never heard of it before. Those product are at the premium. Very nice.

a tad off topic, but the other application the EAR clones are super for is a tube tape head preamp. The RIAA EQ has to be changed to either NAB or IEC, and the gain increased a bit but super affordable for many to get into a 250 dollar tube tapehead preamp plus a bit of DIY work.

ohh interesting. I haven't gone that far into this type of pre-amp but if I get the chance someday, that'd be great. I have even put an eye to those DIY tube amps.
