Early 60's Motorola 3 channel stereo Question

This is a 2 pronged question, so I'm going to post it in tubes and Speakers. Sorry for the duplication!

I have two early 60's Motorola 3 way tube stereo amps (with the Bass center channel) I have been playing with. I like the sound pretty well out of the Wharfdales, (see sig) and have an EV endtable speaker connected to the center. The center bass is somewhat subdued, but sounds OK.

I'm thinking about using both of these amps and driving them both with one preamp, and trying it as a tube HT setup, sort of a 4.5.5 (.5.5 since its woofers, not subs) Any thoughts on this?

I have seen that the original consoles used a 15" Motorola "Golden Voice" woofer, presumably made by Jenson (I've seen one with mfg/date code 220031, which indicates Jenson, 3rd week of 61?), and was wondering if any one knew if getting one of these original center woofers, and boxing it, possibly ala a Klipsh style box, might be worth it? Can these be made small with just a woofer inside? Or something similar?

Are these 15" centers any good? Or were they a bad design/quality to begin?

I dunno, I parted out a Motorola 3 channel just like that.
Somebody hooked a line cord to the bass channel OPT, and the 15" Jensen woofer had a open voice coil.

That woofer had a real, real small magnet. I would guess the free-air roll-off woul be like 50, 60 Hz, maybe even worse. Not very good for a 15" woofer IMO.
Maybe on a big open baffle......
I wonder what sort of bandwidth the center channel bass OPT's have.
The one I have may be shorted, I need to check that......
The little 6 inch whizzer cone "Golden Voice" drivers work, not too bad for what they are.
