Ebay, regional search problem

Is anybody else having regional search problems with ebay. I see a couple posts in the technical forum section of ebay, but they have not addressed the problem.

It's driving me crazy that I can't search for local items.

I normally have a couple searches set up for Rochester. Yesterday around 5PM ET I found it no longer worked and the refine search option only had international choices.

I noticed that last night. It pisses me off.

About the only thing I could find that worked is over on the right side there is the "sort by" section with drop downs for - ending first, highest price first, etc. There is now a drop down for closest first.

i noticed that the other day while i was looking for trucks on there. I thought that they had just gotten rid of it.

IMO it would make alot of sense to add in a zipcode search (like audiogon)

I had the same problem but finally found it.

Choose the 'closest first ' from the drop down then hit search. This should bring you to another page and somewhere near the top is a field for your zip code.

I was going crazy for a while untill I broke down and actually read the Ebay help section. Who knew????

That's kind of nice addition, even has the milage on the right hand side. My searches were for new item in my region. So far haven't figure out how to do that. I have to weed through pages of stuff to see the new listings.
