Ed Saunders V15 Replacement Styli

With Generic stylus it's a hit and miss. I've purchased from Ed in the past I bought one NOS stylus for a Stanton and a generic stylus for an ADC. The generic seems to work but it did change the output of the cartridge a bit. The Stanton was wonderful so as I stated earlier it's a hit and miss thing with generic styluses.
Hope this helps.

Well, the guy in the link from the eBay auction sure gives his V15 III stylus a glowing review.

Kinda makes me want to try one on my III with its original stylus still installed (I don't use it because I would like to get the stylus inspected to see if it is too worn although it still seems to sound good).

I just bought one of the JICO Replacement Styli for my V15 III. It is definitley not a "miss". Very good quality and sounds fantastic. I saw the Ed Saunders' too but figured the JICO's have been out there longer.

scott have you ever tried Radio Shacks Stylus? I'm usung one on my V15 and it sounds great. I have never heard the orginal stylus since my was broken when I recieved it. Radio Shack provides a 30 day return if your not happy. It would be great to have it compared to the one you just got.

i wanted to buy something from saunders once, and asked him if he took paypal. he returned me a scathing note about paypal and the temerity i had in asking about it, and then told me he would not do business with me for suggesting it.

hunh???????????????????????????

They sure are cheap. But look at this picture. I hope they don't all come with a bent cantilever like that :sigh:http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2131148&cp=&kw=shure+stylus&parentPage=search

I don't know anything about this stylus, but I have bought Styli from Ed before, he is a reliable seller. I have paid with Paypal. I think that Shrinkboy is confusing another seller with Ed.

Parts Express had a closeout on Swiss generics for the M95ED for only $9. I don't know how it it compares to the oem Shure but assumed that the Swiss know how to work with diamonds. Has anyone ever come accross anything Swiss made that wasn't made well for that mater?

Scott yes sometimes they do come like that. RS refunded my money with out even a blink. I ordered 2 and 1 was bent, the package is very poor. They need to ship in boxes, instead of padded envelopes. I am using the one I kept and it does sound very good. I wish I had heard the orginal stylus.
