If I've stopped at one garage sale this summer I've stopped at 50...and, until today, had not found ONE piece of vinyl. Picked up a few CDs...but batting .000 on the vinyl front. Stopped at a sale today, nosed around, the lady asked what I was looking for. My reply, as always, "Old stereo gear & records." She said no gear, but "I think I might have a few records." A few minutes later she comes out with about a dozen. I wasn't interested in Cat Stevens or Whitney Houston...but did give her a buck each for "A Turn Of A Friendly Card" (have...but this looks a tad nicer) and "Angel Clare" by Art Garfunkel. Got that one because I like his version of "I Shall Sing". Have to go to Minneapolis this weekend...my son's house is a few blocks from Shuga Records. You know where I'll end up.
