I am contemplating purchasing this amp.
Can anyone tell me if these transformers are original EICO components? If anyone sees a discrepancy, can you please point it out? I’ve been told one of the OPT’s is a replacement. I don’t see it, but I’m not as familiar with this amp as most people are. Just want verification before purchasing.

Thanks.

Yes that’s what I wanted to ask, but he has it boxed and ready to ship….i really feel I should do that before purchase. Do you think this is a fair ask, or am I being paranoid! I really don’t want to shell out good money for a misrepresented or fraudulent component.

I was brought up in different times, people were honest, as am I. So trusting was easier I feel.

The amp is not from an AK’r, whereas if it were, I wouldn’t have even pose this query.

Thanks

You sure the seller didn't mean power transformer? The painted end bell on the power transformer is definitely not the correct color.

It wasn’t the seller saying that one transformer was replaced…it was someone that seen the amp pictures like it is here.

Specifically said “One OPT has been replaced”. I agree, I had to re-read his post thinking he meant PT because of color, but clearly stated OPT.

I personally think they are legit matching OPT’s, but I will certainly confirm before purchasing.

P.S. I kinda like the color of the end bell on the PT.

Wouldn't be too hard to match them all of you want too.

visually the outputs look the same. If its a replacement with the correct part number, not a problem at all.

My first thought was also that it was a replacement power transformer, purely because of the color.
